Detailed Description
The Devil is card XV, depicting a devil dominating a chained man and woman. Symbolizing Capricorn, he represents material attachment, dependency, and bondage. Importantly, the chains are large enough to slip off — the chains are of one's own making. It shows that being dominated by fear and desire is the self's doing, and awareness can bring liberation.
